About Owens . . .
Owens is owned and run by Chef Ryan Bennett. He began his career working alongside Raymond Blanc and it was here that he honed his culinary skills and gained the understanding that freshness was the key to any good dish. Ryan has also had stints at various restaurants around the country including, Vanilla and the Royal Well Tavern in Cheltenham and The Griffin at Felin Fach. With all this experience behind him it was time to head up a restaurant of his own, and so in January 2010 Owens was born. Catering for all tastes, the menu is adorned with fresh fish, locally reared meats and, when in season, various game dishes. Owens also serve a variety of vegetarian dishes which try to avoid the ubiquitous risotto found on most menus.
